Akon was born in Saint Luis, USA. Having lived several years in Senegal his parents wanted to give a good education to Akon and his relatives and they moved back to New Jersey while Akon was 7 years old. He was spent 5 years of his life in jail. In the end of 2005, his manager Robert Montanez was shot in his car. Akon was in the car as well and was wounded his right shoulder but wound was cushy. His album Konvicted was dedicated to his manager. Akon’s religion is muslim, he has got three wives but he planned to get the fourth wife, 15 years old who is native of Senegal. He got orange Lamborgini Gallardo. Even he practiced to sell drugs but never consumed them. Despite his criminal career he quit it at all.
